Is there anything worse than sitting in traffic when you are trying to get somewhere?  Do you ever find yourself listening to traffic reports just to get a tip on the best route possible to your destination? Don't you agree that your fantasy football players deserve the same respect?  Yes, they do!  Your destination is winning your league championship.  The route you choose is entirely in your hands.  Winning at fantasy football is 70% based upon planning for the most favorable match-ups for your fantasy team.  Knowing when to start or bench certain players, make key free agent additions can be completely planned by following the "Tailgate Traffic Report."

Here's how it all works.  We've taken the liberty of ranking all 32 NFL defenses and color coding each team (listed at the bottom).

RED: Stop!   Your offensive skilled players are facing a potentially dangerous defense.  We stick to the policy of never benching your studs, however, you may want to scan the Traffic Report to see which teams/ offenses have a more favorable match-ups and get those players in your lineup or on your squad for that week..

YELLOW:  Yield!  Your  offensive skilled players are facing defense that has some question marks.  They may be good against the pass but weak against the run.  They may play great at home but cannot handle road games.  What about the weather?  Do they perform better in the cold or heat?  Actually, to see game weather reports click here (coming soon).  Regardless, scan the Traffic Report for the most favorable match-up.

GREEN:  Go!  Permission granted, lock and load!  Your offensive skilled players are facing a weak defense.  Get your studs and big potential players in your starting lineups then sit back and watch the points tally faster than Robert Downey Jr's drug arrests.

When your draft planning process begins, use the Tailgate Traffic Report to put together a team that has the easiest path to through the season.  We've summarized some interesting observations below.  Check them out when you have a chance.  Regardless, check back often to the Traffic Report as we will adjust the report accordingly as injuries happen, teams show signs of defensive improvement, etc.
