SPOTLIGHT SLACKERS - WEEK 12

QUARTERBACKS

Joe Flacco - Third straight week on the SLACKERS list and counting!

Matt Cassel - Nobody should be starting Cassel at this point in the season unless you are desperate.  If that is the case, your team probably won't be making the playoffs!

Jake Delhomme & Mark Sanchez - Um, no!

RUNNING BACKS

Lesean McCoy - The Redskins Defense is very legit.  And besides, Andy Reid rather throw the ball than have a balanced attack.

Pierre Thomas & Mike Bell -Pats rush defense is solid and the is RBBC is $hit for the birds (from a fantasy perspective)!

WIDE RECEIVERS

Devin Hester  - Viking Defense will keep Hester in check....despite him receiving plenty of targets.

Santana Moss - Sadly, no...Moss should not crack your starting line-up given the anemic Redskins Offense.

Kenny Britt - Despite playing well, the Cards Defense will keep Vince Young in check this week and Britt will probably see double teams.

TIGHT ENDS

Tony Scheffler - His targets are minimal and is not worth a starting spot, let alone a roster spot.

SPOTLIGHT STARTERS - WEEK 12

QUARTERBACKS

LOCKS: Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Matt Schaub, Drew Brees & Philip Rivers

Matt Ryan - Facing a Bucs Defense that has the 3rd most amount of passing TDs in the entire league.

Carson Palmer - The Browns Pass Defense ranks 26th in the NFL averaging 247.1 net yards allowed per game.  Line Palmer up!

Brett Favre - Favre has is known for being a "Bear Killer."  The Eagles tallied two passing TDs last Sunday night.  Look for similar performance by Favre.

RUNNING BACKS

LOCKS: Steven Jackson, Chris Johnson , Frank Gore, Maurice Jones-Drew, Adrian Peterson, Ricky Williams, Thomas Jones & LaDainian Tomlinson

Jason Snelling  - Filling in for Michael Turner and facing Tampa Bay, Snelling is hot candidate to start this week!  The Bucs rank  last in the NFL averaging 168.9 rushing yards allowed per game.

WIDE RECEIVERS

LOCKS: Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Roddy White, Reggie Wayne, Larry Fitzgerald, Marques Colston & Chad Ochocinco

Michael Crabtree - The rookie has lived up to all expectations so far.  He tallied 4 receptions for 77 yards and his first TD.  Keep him active against Jags Pass Defense that ranks toward the bottom half.

TIGHT ENDS

LOCKS: Vernon Davis, Antonio Gates, Kellen Winslow & Tony Gonzalez

John Carlson  -The TE position is red-hot for SEA.  Carlson racked up 6 receptions for 92 yards and 2 TDs last week.  Good start vs. STL defense.
Be sure to check out the Dan LaBert STRAIGHT-UP PICKS for each NFL game.
